Hi again,
No bike so far, considering a Bandit or Hornet for my first bike, they seem popular. My mate swears by the CBR.There are so many bikes to choose from!

I think I just surfed on in to the site, cant remember, maybe I typed motorcycle training or something in to Google!

Hi Iain

I doubt very much that you're the same person but by strange coincidence I was at uni with a lad called Iain who came from Lewis :D

Good luck for the 13th

Hi Iain,

Am I right in thinking the roads may be a little quieter where you are ?

Best of luck for your test.Hope the weathers good for you.

Regards, Steve.

I think they sell ales, not really my taste but it seems popular with some.

It's my first time on a bike at the age of 39!I've always harboured an interest in Bikes but like a lot of folk I was dissuaded by those who said it was dangerous.I think if I didn't do it now I probably never would especially since the test is changing next year.

Never been to Uni I'm afraid, didn't really pay attention at school!

Yeah island roads are quieter than mainland roads certainly. However their also not as good. There's no dual carriage way here and only 2or 3 single lane roundabouts in the town.Sheep on the roads can be a bloody nuisance and there are still some single track roads.

When you pass your test how long does it take to get your new licence from DVLA?I'll probably be leaving home shorlty after my test and don't like been without it!

If you have the new style photo id license, upon passing your test your examiner will offer for you to surrender it to him!
This means he will send it off for you the same day, therefore you should receive it quickly, possibly 1 week to 10 days :D
