to me it all depends what you want from a bike
cheap to run
cheap to insure
go to work bike
weekend riding
would you prefer naked or faired
have you got a price in mind
doe,s it matter how old bike is
what bike you ave is up to you we ave all got our own
preferences
i tend to go with whatever i feel comfortable with

i was looking at an R6 lol but my other half has put his foot down and said no lol, so i think for a first bike im going to go for a cbr600, thats unless the instructor tells me im only capable of learning on a 125 :lol: :lol:

Not yet.I've been working away,offshore and only got back today so only now have my hands on my new licence!
I quite fancy a Honda VFR..

a lad on another motorcycle forum down here has recently accquired
a vfr 800 he's just been a trip around france on it reckons its a
cracking bike :D
