Good for you! The more you get out the more confidence you will get. U-Turns, there is a subject on the forum, describing do's and don'ts but the best advise keep practising them, and you will crack them

Hi Val,
Just go round the block 1st, then tomorrow go round the block twice, and so on.
It is perfectly normal to to feel nervous...... but to overcome that you need to get out on your own.
Go on you can do it.

Hi Val,

You can do it Val. :) Even a cowardest little me have finally managed my first trip out this week without Steven following and preventing other angry drivers close on my tail. I made little shopping trips not more than 1 mile away at the beginning of the week and by the end of the week, managed to commute all by myself although going no more than 30mph. I still feel fear but not as much as before. I'm sure it will gradually subside.

Keep going. :)

Well done Amy, now your over that hurdle your confidence will go from strength to strength, then you can go out there and have some fun.

Val its normal to feel nervous, but tackle it in bite size pieces, I know its scary going it alone but you need to face your fears head on and just do it. If you need an excuse to go out on the bike why not try having a steady run over to a friends house for a coffee, somewhere not to far away to start off with.

Hi Ian, it was brilliant thanks, apart from a stomach bug going round the hotel, bry and all the kids had it unfortunately.
Weather was fab, food was even better.
Flight got delayed for 5 hours yesterday, and got back to Birmingham to lots and lots of rain
