Yup! Got it on Sunday from a guy in Bristol (eBay purchase). It's in really good nick, apart from the fact that it had obviously been stood for a long time. Thankfully my mate spotted the horrendous state of the "oil" in it:


Yes, it is as bad as it looks! It had a heck of a lot of water in it, plus a bit of rust. Lovely I'll be having words with the seller, as this has aged the cam chain by at least an extra 10,000 miles.

So we did an extremely thorough oil change, gave it a new oil filter, freed up the brakes, fitted the 33bhp restrictor kit and put it on a Dyno. I had my first ride of it today It's amazingly smooth considering it didn't always get the care it deserves!

The bike is actually in very good nick, aside from the oil issue, and I got it for a good price. It's not a project, it's lovely!

It's had new rear brake pads and it could do with a new rear tyre soon, but that's about it now. It's ready to play

My tastes have broadened considerably recently. I've really got into the naked street-bike look. But most of all I love riding a bike that corners!

You had a trip away? I did Seahouses on my Scotland trip a few years back! If I recall it was a good run, and a nice place? Have you any pictures for the forum?
