Congleton Beer Festival, Sat 30th June '07

Postby Helen_86 on Wed Jun 13, 2007 11:43 pm

For anyone who's interested there's a beer festival in Congleton (on the field behind the Leisure Centre) on Sat 30th June. :D

The sign advertising it is back up outside the New Life church on West Road, though I haven't had a chance to have a good look at it yet. It says something about tickets being available from the Leisure Centre.

Anyone know any more about it? Mmmm... beeeeeeeer....

what a shame - can't go - any beer fest has got to be worth a visit though :D
How many times can one person drop a bike practicing those dread u-turns?

it should be good. I'm a camera member and they are usually quite good up his end of the country. I missed the last one that was out and a bout. but if you fancy a decent brew in the congleton area then i'd say stick your head in the bear town tap, or the castle if you want/need something more child friendly.

And Congleton Leisure Centre has a bar that always has great real ale. The bonus is that it's only just round the corner from the Bear Town Tap :D

I have blurry recollections of it... and the bit at the bottom of the chalk board that says something like "If you can read this, you are on your hands and knees, drunk. Please leave through the door behind you!"
