Gutted

Postby RichardBlackburn on Sun Aug 31, 2008 6:42 pm

Hi,

My name is Richard Blackburn and i just failed my test.
I would just like to thank Rob for all his help, i believe his training has made a better rider and a safe rider.
But the reason i failed wasn't to do with bad training or nerves but what i believe to be a grudge against young riders.
The examiner i had was an old ex cop who i believe either hates young riders or just wants us to cough upo more money but this time for the new test which costs considerably more.
What he failed me on was "that i stayed in the right line of a dual carriageway to long" and he gave me an instruction far to late to turn left at a roundabout. He gave me a load of attitude in the debrief about wanting to cut up the cars in the left line just so i get ahead in the traffic. which is complete nonsence, i was just trying to progress through traffic and not to cut anyone up.

As you may have fiqured out i am not best pleased with my test result, and now i have to wait a long time until i have to take it again and it will be the new test.

I'm sorry for my rant, but i do just want to thank Rob and Jackie for thier help and i'm sorry to have let all your hard work go to waste on a stupid mistake.
Thank you again and hope to see you soon on a big bike.

Thanks
Richard Blackburn.

Hi Richard,
Chin up Mate and Onwards and Upwards

The said Examiner, had 4 pupils from me this week, and only 1 got through successfully

One of the down sides at the moment, is that Examiners are being moved about a lot, and results are mixed, this said we are still enjoying a good pass rate :D

Don't feel too bad, just get another one asap. :D
