Sorry to hear that Frank.
We heard of an incident, however were unaware of who/what happened.
Please pass on my regards and wishes to Dean, and lets see him soon,
Robert.

I don't know the facts, only heard about it, but Dean and his Dad Frank, did their bike tests with us recently.

Frank will let us know soon, I am sure.

hi again, an update on Dean. he has three plates in his arm, a fractured pelvis and a leg in need of reconstructive surgery when they can get him a bed in Stepping Hill hospital, he is in Macc general hos still. where has this week gone???
as to what happened. he purchased a brand new Yamaha R6 he had only had it 8 days 200 mls if that on the clock. traded in his Honda cbr 600f for it. it was a pretty nice sunday afternoon on the 26th. he asked me about dinner time if i fancied a ride out. i had stuff to do so i said no. anyway he,s out on our usual routes that we take 537 to Macc and back then decided to go on the A34 to Manchester this was at the roundabout at Congleton where the abulance station is, there were 2 cars in front of him as he came off the roundabout towards the A34 the road becomes national speed limit at that point about. anyway Dean overtakes the second car and when he is along side him he starts to pull out and clips Dean. he is stuggling to controll the bike and hits the kerb then into the lamp post. the bike snapped in half. He is very lucky to be alive the paramedics say. i recieved the call from the driver of the car, i just shut down, went into shock i suppose. he is doing ok though, thank god. wrong place wrong time i guess, we can all point our finger and blame. i was,nt there so i don,t know. i still have Dean and i know he is no fool on his bike

he was moved eventually to stepping hill hospital last week/thursday, they have found damage to ligaments etc to other leg also. they did op on worst leg on sat, nearly 2 weeks after the crash. gonna be in a wheel chair for about 8 weeks then back for more ops, nerve in his foot could take 2 to 4 years to heal. they may do a graft. he has been told he won,t be able to play football again or any contact sport. he is absolutely gutted. hope to have him home in a few weeks.he still can,t believe whats happened. one minute your out on your new machine, buzzin in the afternoon sun then BANG. life can be cruel sometimes. i,ve told him of the support from you guys and get well wishes, he sends his thanks. thanks to from me his dad
