I had to do my bike test that day you know - was not exactly the most fun day of my life - and needed police assistance to get my bike over the flood waters and back to the safety of my home :(

I'd have not gone out at all if I hadn't had the (failed it again) test :D
How many times can one person drop a bike practicing those dread u-turns?
