Ace :D I hadn't checked for a while, thanks for letting me know! Now I remember the only thing I forgot to put in my ad... the issue of zero feedback. This bidder's a newby... hmm...

I think I will be collaring my dear brother to drive me up to Rossendale, hopefully Saturday or Monday. Need to talk to the sales bloke tomorrow to get the registration of the bike so I can sort out insurance. The good news is I've already cleared a space in the garage so it can fit next to my 125 until that sells :)

Yeah, and I've emailed the bidder asking him to email me back with a contact number I can call him on to check he's genuine. I'll give it a couple of days and see if he replies.

Glad Mr Gambles is doing something more enjoyable now. I'd get sick of selling booze too! Drinking it however... *starts stroking a nearby bottle of wine...*

Didn't you know that stroking a bottle of red wine brings it to the right temperature quicker?

Aha... think I got away with that fib... *phew* 8) :D

Not that I'd be drinking at this time of day, of course... only on special occasions!

 I have fond memories of Flora Day in Helston this year (a slightly late mayday celebration, where lots of people dance through the town). We left the house at 6:30am, walked into Helston to see the first dance that went by at about 7:20- 7:30... and we were in the Blue Anchor for the first pint of the day by 7:40am! :D Then we went in search of breakfast...

:D That's the one :D

The Furry Dance was at around midday, by which point Helston was so packed that there was no room to breathe! And for some reason, they made the dancers go up the pavement for the Furry Dance, instead of on the road, like all the others. The result was that a lot of exceedingly well-dressed dancers were getting rather cramped :D Sardines spring to mind...

Along with the majority of holiday makers heading to Cornwall. So you get to spend many entertaining hours sitting in queues on the A30
I don't know how people do that. I was always lucky in that I was always going the other way to the holiday traffic, as I came back to Cheshire on a few bank holidays etc. Those holiday tail backs are huge! My brother came to visit once last summer and unfortunately drove down on the wrong day (Saturday, I think). It took him 10 hours to get to me! To give you an idea of how long he was held up for, it took him just under 6 hours to get home again! Blimey

I never got round to visiting Flambards, which is a shame because they had a Rolling Stones tribute on one night, "Rolling Stoned", which would have been good. I often saw light aircraft flying around with a "Flambards: The Best Day of the Week" banner behind it though. It was the butt of a few jokes as we were working :D
