This bike is a fantastic learner/ first bike. It's very stable and great for doing those dreaded U-turns on. It looks and sounds like a bigger bike than a 125, so you can ride in style! I have done long rides on this (including Land's End and back!-- N.B the panniers are not included in this auction and neither are L plates- I cut them up last August!) and unlike other 125s I've ridden, the seat is actually comfortable! So you can get off the bike at the end of your ride and still walk normally, not like John Wayne ;o) This is also perfect for shorter riders, as the seat is low. I'm about 5 foot 4 and it's fine for me. I think it'd be fine for taller riders too although may be a little cramped if you're 6 foot 4!
I had the chain and sprocket set replaced when I got the bike (March '05) and have since replaced both tyres (the front one last August and the rear last month). The rear cush drive pads were replaced in March '05. The left wing mirror and the arm its attached to are new. I have the V5 log book, past and current MOT certificates and service receipts as well as the owner's manual. Taxed and MOTd til March/ April '08.
As a first bike, this bike has not always been wrapped in cotton wool! So there are a few stone chips on the tank and a scrape on the left side of the tank and on the left rear indicator (I think it may have been dropped against a wall in the past) and parts of the frame and exhaust are rusting a bit. Nothing unusual for a bike of its age though.
I am finally selling my faithful friend, after 2 years of happy riding. I'm just about to get something a little bigger.
You are welcome to come and see it, it's in Congleton. Feel free to call me if you have any questions/ to arrange a viewing: 07789 232760 (Helen)
