cheers, i have a scorpion can to stick on but i am in two minds. If i do i loose the option to carry a pillion as the high can gets in the way of the pegs.

she says it's my choice as she doesn't have the right kit yet. i told her no on the back fun untill she gets gloves and boots sorted (jacket and lid done), as i'm a stickler for protection, especially gloves, since i had to have my hand reconstructed. I know how difficult it is when you cant use/have destroyed one.
the Castle pub is the one by the car sales place. Tucked in deep on the right as you drive to Congleton from Biddulph. There's the two car parks, the pic is in the one behind the pub. It's not a bad pub, some good guest ales, they did have Black sheep at one point :D. The other usual suspects like speckled hen are nearly always on.

nope, didn't have a bandit a few months ago. the triple is my first big bike. And i have now fitted the scorpion. But i have managed to keep the pillion pegs. using spacers and longer bolts which fit into the threaded mounting points on the frame. the end result is a high rise can, and a pillion pet that sits 1-1.5 inches out form the sub frame.... i'll post a pick in the next few days(best guess tomorrow)

it did look a lot like that when i got over there. Some big pumps later and all is a tad drier. It seems that the media frenzy that was all excited has disapeared now. But now the water has gone there a different set of problems which we have to deal with; the left over sewage that the water was carrying. There are a lot of people over in sheffield that are now becoming ill, due to contaminated streets and homes. The specific areas i have been dealing with there is a large problem with un-insured homes, homes that are seccond or third generation, where they dont have to have insurance as a part of a morgage. The council are doing the best they can though and they deserve a lot of credit,i have seen councils that just panic but they have been doing exactly as we tell them and doing it quickly.
One of the nicest things though is the sence of community spirit that is rising over there. neighbours who have never spokenare now best friends and entire streets are getting to know each other.

this is where some of the lottery money should be
going to help these people out

also the media could do a lot more to help these people by
staying behind and highlighting all the areas that need help

mind you saying that half the time the media prevented help
getting throu cause there vans an equipment where in the way

and havent they just put interest rates up again i am sure the people whose homes are flooded with no insurance and probly carnt get to work
to earn money really appreceate that  :x
