Hi and welcome to the forum.
I would suggest as I always show my trainees, that you set the right standard with the examiner right from the beginning/taking the bike on and off the stands correctly.
The standard is the same for 125cc and 500cc.
This would come under the precautions section on the Driving Test Report.
Ian is quite right in that b) is the correct way, but using the pummel and front brake in congunction with each other. IE: control the bike with the pummel when taking off stand and then apply the front brake before letting the stand up.
Then in reverse, to put bike back on stand control the bike with the front brake until pummel is down and bike is upright, before moving right hand onto grabrail to bring the bike back on to the stand.
Who did you complete your CBT with?
As this correct way is part of the DSA CBT syllabus I am suprised that you were not shown this.
Check out with the training school that completed your CBT.
Hope this helps
