CBT Question

Postby ValHarri on Thu Jun 07, 2007 3:51 pm

Hiya, was just wondering as ive been told two different things,
Would it be best for me to do my CBT before my Theory Test? or the do the Theory Test first?
Also ive been quoted £120 for the CBT
Road Riding £150 a full day
and £125 for the test
seems a bit expensive to me but i dont really know so i thought id post for advice :)

Hi Val,
Theory or CBT does not matter in which order as you need both documents to sit the test.
I would suggest, given my experience as an Instructor is to complete the CBT 1st, as this is the introduction, and in the event that you think biking is not for you, you have not wasted money on the theory, this is only my opinion mind.
CBT at the price you quoted does seem high, compared to other schools.
We at http://www.rjhgroup.co.uk for instance charge £75.00 own bike and £99.00 bike hire.
Daily charges for 125cc are £95.00 and 500cc £125.00
We would charge £60.00 for the test, however hourly charges of £20.00 would apply for the duration of the test training and test time.
Shop about is what I say, all training schools vary in costs.
Get yourself to Congleton I say

If i lived closer i wouldnt think twice about coming to Congleton lol.
The £125 Test fee includes 2 hours practise before the test itself
I may have to speak nicely to Nanny to look after the kids for a week, then i could come to Congleton, take my training and stay at a nice Hotel

I have had residential pupils before, Cannock was where the last Guy was from!
I would recommend the Edgerton Arms, Astbury check out my links page on http://www.rjhgroup.co.uk
He stayed there for a week, and passed his DAS 1st time
