Mike's quite interested in this, so we may see you there (ice permitting!) :D

Good recommendation Yorkie. Nice pub, good food and efficient service. Think we were a bit late / guess there will be a lot more bikes as the weather improves?

Thought you'd be more than happy to stand next to a warm kettle, considering recent temperatures ;)

Was 'volunteered by proxy' - thought it could be Rob just pullling my leg again and that I would brave the cold all the way to Congleton only to discover he was in the Maldives or something  :!: (Rob, unfortunately had pre-arranged stuff on Saturday and thought it was a bit too icy Sunday morning). Will come and make you a brew in a couple of weeks as am off to London on business now, then hols (yippee!).

Was hoping to see you there Yorkie and to get you a pint in (better than an email don't you think?!) - will catch you next time - post an 'e-fit' so that we know what you look like!! Inadvertently did a bit of 'off-roading' on the way there, or at least it seemed that way - followed a B road past Dunham, slightly winding, narrowing down to single file traffic under a small bridge. Luckily I'd slowed due to the constriction/risk of oncoming traffic and also the risk of ice under the bridge. The surface under the bridge could only be described as tiled (looked very slippy!) with enormous potholes, horse manure, ice and various other nasties :!: Comms meant at least I was able to warn Mike before he came through (he caught some ice, probably because of his wider tyres). Needless to say we took a different route home....!
