Hi Guys!

I had a rare day off work yesterday and was dying to get out for a bit of practice!! however rain, sleet and snow all day!! :(

Eventually cleared up at about 5 ish!! so off I went for a little tootle around the lanes... all great and feeling quite happy so decided to go to a quiet industrial estate to practice some U turns!... which are driving me mad!!! :(

After about 10 mins of going round and round in circles..eventually managed a half decent one :D and was somewhat surprised to hear sounds of clapping and cheering!!!!!!.. looked up the road to see a couple of trucks that were parked up which I thought were empty!....only to see 2 blokes in the cab having their fish and chips and I had obviously been providing the dinner entertainment!!.. Oh the shame

Great to hear you are getting out :D
Don't let the weather put you off (unless it is extremely dangerous) as the more miles you can get in poor weather will certainly put you in good stead for the future :D
Remember to get the theory booked, and lets get that test done before it all changes at the end of September :D

Hi Rob

Thanks for that, I was wondering how do I go about doing my Theory test? Is that something I arrange via yourself, or where do I go?
Thanks Caroline :D

Hi Caroline

I can let you have the official DSA Hazards Perception DVD if you would like it (did the test yesterday so it's looking for a new home :) ).

Hi Mandy,

I hope you had a good weekend and managed to get out on your bike?

Thanks for the offer of your DVD, that would be great as I really need to get on and do my theory test

Do you want to PM me your phone number, so we can sort out collection/or posting it? Also let me know what I owe you for it too?

Thanks Mandy, hope to speak to you soon,

Caroline :D

Hi folks............. took your advice Rob and got my test booked in before September.... 080808 was the date is that a good sign or bad I wondered??
Weather was kind and Northwich examiner almost human! You wouldnt think an underwired bra would work through goretex would you??
All going ok and then it was time for the dreaded U-turn....... tried to cheat by turning near a side road but he wasnt having any of that and made me do it again!! Luckily? or should that be .. because I did lots of practice :D it was ok second time around too!

anyway I PASSED!!!!! :D :D :D

Thanks must go to my extremely patient other half Chris, who I think must have gone to the same school of patience as you guys at RJH!! as he had to cope with tears and tantrums at frequent intervals over the last few days!!!!....so if your looking for anymore instructors Rob, you know where to come....apparently he really enjoyed all our little training outings and was quite into his oneway radio for giving instructions!!

So there's some serious bike shopping to be done now!!! but as i am seriously vertically challenged, this isn't quite as straight forward as it sounds!! :?
