Event this weekend? 10/11 May 8)

Postby keepy on Fri May 09, 2008 7:24 pm

Evening All,

On the way home from work tonight I must have passed hundreds of bikes from comming off the M6 at Knutsford, shed loads riding through knutsford and then loads heading toward Knutsford on the Macclesfield Road!!!!

All types of bikes from Classics, sports and cruisers... Is there anything on over that way this weekend?

Everyone seemed to have their panniers laoded and ruck sacks on their backs... so It looked like a weekend job!

Thought it might be worth a butchers if anyone knows what the occation is :D

I went to both the NABD rally and the Thundersprint, and reckon most of the people keepy saw were en route to the NABD rally. It was PACKED! :D I'm really surprised that I didn't manage to trip over any tent guy lines after drinks, as I'd had to slalom around a couple of tents to get my bike in!

I'd definitely recommend the NABD rally. The real ale was pretty cheap, the cans of the usual beers & strongbow cider were dirt cheap, and a great time was had by all! (Funny, I think those two things may have been related...)
