Hi all, newbie here.

Hello everyone.
Well, im 29, ive been "into" bikes for years but always too scared to even ride pillion til a couple of years ago. I did cbt in warrington a couple of months ago, and im now riding a black 125 varadero. I must admit im not very confident and only go out when the traffic isnt very busy, sunday mornings usually. I sometimes wonder if im the only one to be this nervous. I got the varadero as im quite a tall girl and most other 125's are too small and/or sporty for my liking, felt like my knees were round my ears on the little suzuki i did cbt on.

Well, to answer a couple of questions. lol. Im 6ft tall, so thats why i didnt feel comfortable on the little 125 i did cbt on. As for doing my test, thats my aim, but only when i feel confident enough to do it. I decided to wait a bit anyway until all the confusion with the new test dies down. Im thinking of getting a good few miles under my belt then have a go at doing the test next summer maybe, after a few lessons that is. No doubt i will have picked up some bad habits by then.

Congratulations on your CBT. Would love to ride your Varadero but would need a box to stand on! Don't worry about the nerves, they will subside with time and frequent riding. I still get it a bit sometimes if I've not ridden for a few weeks, but it passes after a few minutes out on the road :) . Did CBT in Jan with RJH and passed test in August (not first attempt, failed previously due to bad nerves!) - now waiting to take delivery of my 250 on Monday :D .

As Yorkie says, any questions feel free to ask!
