Good luck with your test in January - you'd better pass or it might be a 200-mile round trip for the next one!!!

Per above, any questions feel free to ask :D (just passed restricted in August so remember it well!)

Did the restricted test, mainly due to my height (or lack thereof  ) and the (girly) confidence thing that goes with it. Two years will fly by - had a look around the NEC bike show for future possibles, although I've got to say we're fairly addicted to Triumphs (classic style). As you'll see from my other posts I can't ride at the minute - strangely, my hubby is VERY keen to take my bike out - he mentioned the word 'fun' after the last outing and had a very large grin on his face - not only am I green with envy  but quite concerned I won't get my bike back if my physio takes too long!!!
By NEC 2010 will be free to buy whatever I like (£££s permitting!), so need to get practising!

Re: advice, feel free to ask any particulars - very friendly bunch on here (although sometimes a bit cheeky   ). An observation would be that you have been riding for a while now - don't know if you're having any lessons, but if not it might be worth booking some sort of assessment pre-test. The examiners are very fair but do have eyes up there a***s irrespective of whether they're following you in a car or on a bike (yes - they may use either, you could ask your local test centre for info if you want to know, small centres may only have one type of vehicle, if they have both it could be either). Useful to know they may pull alongside you at a junction if they're on a bike and your position allows them to do so (I had this once when turning left). If you do fail the first time listen to the advice being given, or ask if it's not readily provided. If you take a wrong turn you are not marked down for this, but beware they are very good at spotting errors!

MOST IMPORTANTLY - don't forget to tell us your test date so that we can root for you :!: and let us know how it goes :)

Sounds like you've got it all sorted! Good luck with the test!

Yes, saw it at the NEC - perhaps when they fix my knee I could get them to lengthen my legs so I could buy it!

(question is, does it come with a free Steve McQueen - he'd look good onboard  )
