Hello folks,

To be honest, I'm just an old fart who wants to get back on a bike after too many years of sitting in a car.

Background info: I make my living working with leather and writing for anyone who will pay me. I'd like to catch up with the bike scene again and find myself some wheels for a long road trip. Having riden a lot of lovely old bikes back when dinosaurs ruled the earth and helmets weren't obligatory, I never lost the desire to do it all again - sad innit?

Enough said - thanks for having me!

Barefoot.
Some mornings, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps.

Welcome Barefoot :D
Youve come to the right place, now have you got your bike license?
If you have, make sure you do a refresher before taking to the road

Power/Weight ratio's a lot different to when you were last riding! Ask Retro, he remembers the 50's well

Nice website you have there, I trust it keeps you busy?

Back in the mists of time (early 70s) I used to ride an old Norton single with a chair on it so I never did pass a test. I'm really kicking myself now but I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay the dosh for an intensive course. Any idea how much it is going to cost me and how long will it take?

As for you Paul - Barebum indeed - cheeky blighter. Is there no respect for honest hardworking old farts these days?

Glad you like the website - it keeps me out of the pub... most of the time!

You will have to forgive Retro, as he gets older his spelling is starting to suffer Bless Him

Bet your not only kickin yourself for not only not passing your bike test? Should of kept that Norton!!

Check us out on http://www.rjhgroup.co.uk we are pretty competetive with prices!

Assuming you need to hire a bike, CBT £99.00 and daily rates = (6hours) £120.00 Your test fees Theory £30.00 Practical £80.00

Difficult to give you a specific cost, however if you book yourself in for a CBT we can assess you at the same time and at the end be more accurate as to your requirements!

Call Jacci on 01260 270095 and she will happily talk through your options :D
