Hi. I’m Lisa, RJH Driver & Rider Trainings Admin/secretary/telephonist/cleaner/oh the list goes on.
I did my Cbt almost 2 years ago and loved it. I used one of the training scooters for over a year but for some reason haven’t been on it since last year. I’m contemplating getting my full licence (as I’m staff AND living with the boss should be cheap lol) but am a bit scared! Crazy I know. Will renew my Cbt then take it from there. Looking forward to the new training video this forum is producing to help me pass my test first time.
Any advice great fully received.22/07/2012 at 9:02 PM #10310
Welcome to the forum Lisa, I know just the man to help you get your license:-)11/12/2012 at 7:32 PM #10311
Hi. Still contemplating getting my full license. Think after 2 years of sitting in the office listening to Rob, Paul, Neil and several others teaching thousands of pupils complete their CBTs and full licenses, I could possibly teach myself. No pressure to pass first time then. Not sure living with the boss and being trained by him is the right solution, although I guess I have the bonus of a possible “Freebie”. Will keep you all posted. Maybe when the sun starts shining I will get my leathers on……. or maybe not!11/12/2012 at 7:35 PM #10312

When are you gonna start your motorbike training Lisa??13/03/2013 at 7:44 PM #10319AnonymousInactive
Perhaps If everyone attending this weekend’s celebrations asked her the same question, she would have to book it! 😎01/04/2013 at 1:21 PM #10317
Im still thinking about it. If my boss gave me some time off work, maybe I could get it booked in. I REALLY want to do it this year though and I think making a blog of my experience and posting it on here may be a good idea. Any advice or help much appreciated. Now, where to begin??? First thing is find a great training school. CHECK. Next, get studying my highway code. CHECK. Now, try to find some Motorcycle clothing that doesnt make me look like a butch Mitchelin man……. The days of shapeless women’s motorcycle clothing are gone. It’s now possible to get clothing that is more tailored to suit the female form – have a look here for example… http://www.getgeared.co.uk/Womens_Motorcycle_Clothing/Womens_Motorcycle_Jackets
Remember, properly fitting clothing is essential if it’s to offer you maximum protection from the elements as well as in the event of an accident. J&S Accessories in Northwich has a very large clothing department, so get down there and try some stuff on. Take Rob’s credit card and treat it like any other shopping trip! 😆 😆
Then GET YOUR LESSONS BOOKED!
